The PC Built for Audio: Spectral Computers

Do you have a friend who scoffs at buying a PC for audio, claiming that he can easily build one by himself? Six months later, why is he still building that computer instead of creating any music? Perhaps a better plan is to get a Spectral Computer from GC Pro, since it's completely ready for your most intense audio productions from day one, and can be pre-configured for your specific applications.

Even Spectral's most affordable rackmount model exceeds the system requirements for Pro Tools, Gigastudio, Nuendo and other leading audio applications.

How cute! A little cube computer. Oh wait... the CB-1100 has a higher level spec than most tower PCs, like a 3Ghz P4, two internal 7200RPM HDs, DVD/R/W drive, multiple PCI and PCI Express slots, 3 fireWire ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports and more. Yikes! This is a monster computer. in a cute little box. Aw!

Need a fast CPU? Multiple (or hot-swappable) drives in the same box? Quiet performance? Rack-mount configurations? Dual monitor support? Tons of FireWire and USB interfacing? if you're going to "do it all in the box", make sure the box is ready to be done unto. Spectral does it right.

Spectral Computers have been tested and certified by all major software manufacturers. Don't see your favorite on the list above? Never fear... chances are, Spectral will blow away their systems requirements by a mile.

Computer audio production has grown past the days of its infancy. It would be hard imagining a new recording environment being built today that was not at least partially based on the computer. However, once you choose to go the route of computer audio, there are a few other choices that go along with that decision. Are you more comfortable with a Mac or a Windows-based PC? If you're going the Windows route, will you settle for an off-the-shelf PC, or try and build a custom, dedicated machine for audio?

Thanks to companies like Spectral Computers, there's a third choice to PC-based audio: a computer that's ready for your most intense applications in music and audio from the moment you take it out of the box.

Built to Rock
Every component in a Spectral PC has been matched and tested for optimal performance in a recording environment. Their rock-solid performance has allowed Spectral to get official qualification by leading audio software developers including Digidesign, Steinberg, Cakewalk, M-Audio and others.
