Job Description:
GC Pro, the Professional Sales Division of Guitar Center, is the leader in Professional Audio Equipment sales. Growth is exceeding 30 percent per year.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: account planning, account management, sales funnel management, territory marketing plans, making executive level presentations, working with company sales teams and partners, prospecting and lead qualification as well as closing business in a highly competitive market. The Sales Representative is responsible for conducting face-to-face sales calls, making outbound sales calls, completing inbound phone inquiries, scheduling team members and tracking sales activities on large complex accounts or new territories. They create Sales Quotes, prepare proposals and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates. The Rep develops new business within an assigned territory, region or industry. They compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management weekly. The Rep mentors new sales team staff.

Demographic Target Markets:
Artist Management Companies, Broadcasting, Churches, Motion Picture Facilities, Multi-Media (such as theme parks or performance venues), Music Producers , Post Production Facilities, Professional Musicians (such as Film Composers and Recording Artists), Record Companies, Recording Studios
Experience:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Proven record of effective sales/operations management.
5+ years combined experience in sales.
Consistently Exceeded Quota of $1,000,000 per year
Sold Products/Services in a range of $1k to $50k+.
Recognized presence in regional marketplace.
CRM System Experience, Successfully Managing your Sales Business
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in conducting Web Sales Calls, Web Seminars and Web Meetings
Strategic vision for regional revenue growth to meet Companys business objectives.
Deep cross-functional knowledge of sales and operations.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
BA/BS degree preferred
